RESERVATIONS: Reservations should be made as soon as possible so Kobayashi Travel Service can keep you informed of any changes. All reservations are on a first-come, first-serve basis, and will not be guaranteed until a deposit is received.
DEPOSITS: A Deposit of $100.00 per person is required to assure your reservations. All deposits MUST be paid by check or cash and accompanied with a completed Tour Registration Form.
FINAL PAYMENT: Kobayashi Travel Service will notify you approximately 8 weeks prior to the tour departure, with a final statement and a tour briefing notice. Final payment will be due thereafter. You may pay your airfare by credit card (subject to select airlines), however the land portion of the tour must be paid by cash or check.
SCHEDULE OF CANCELLATION CHARGES: You should be aware of charges should you have to cancel your reservation as both the participating airline and Kobayashi Travel Service may assess the following charges:
** If you cancel 91 or more days prior to departure date - Deposit is fully refundable
** If you cancel 90 - 61 days prior to departure date for any reason, your deposit will be forfeited and Kobayashi Travel Service will assess an additional $100 per person. Air ticket penalties are at the discretion of the participating airline.
** If you cancel 60 - 31 days prior to departure date for any reason, your deposit will be forfeited and Kobayashi Travel Service will assess an additional $200 per person. Air ticket penalties are at the discretion of the participating airline.
** If you cancel 30 - 1 days prior to departure date for any reason, your deposit will be forfeited, and Kobayashi Travel Service will assess an additional $300 per person plus any penalties assessed by the hotels and attractions. Air ticket penalties are at the discretion of the participating airline.
** On the departure day or later, air ticket penalties are at the discretion of the participating airline and only those monies that can be recovered from the hotels and other services will be refunded when said tour commences. Additional airline and transportation fees to return home from the tour are the responsibility of the passenger.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: It is always wise to protect your travel investments. Optional travel insurance is available and may be purchased at Kobayashi Travel Service. Special added coverage if insurance is purchased within 14 days of initial deposit date. Call the office for more details.
AIR TRANSPORTATION AND FARES: Air transportation from Honolulu is included in the tour package price. Special group fares are used and there are some restrictions which apply regarding Travel Certificates, Mileage Upgrade Certificates, etc.
DEVIATIONS: Any deviation is at the discretion of the participating airline. Deviations are on a requested first-come, first-serve basis and are limited. Please notify Kobayashi Travel Service as soon as possible regarding your request.
LAND ONLY PURCHASE: Travel awards (i.e. Free Ticket), Standby and/or travel on another airline other than listed on the tour is permissible, however may be subject to a surcharge. Kobayashi Travel Service is not responsible for charges assessed by your chosen airline in the event of a flight schedule change or cancellation of a tour. Individual transfer arrangements to meet the group is not included.
OUT OF TOWN RESIDENTS: Air transportation is inclusive from Honolulu. Additional flight arrangements and airfare are the responsibility of the passenger. Additional overnight hotel accommodations if necessary, are also the responsibility of the passenger. Kobayashi Travel Service can assist with making airline and hotel reservations.
AIRLINE MILEAGE CREDITS: Any application for mileage credits on any tour must be made BEFORE the tour departs. Kobayashi Travel Service will not be responsible for mileage credits AFTER the tour commences.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN YOUR TOUR:
Hotel Accommodations: Based on rooms with private bath and 1 or 2 beds. Roll away beds for triple accommodations can be provided with adequate advance notice at an additional charge.
Motorcoaches: Best available air-conditioned motorcoaches will be used
Meals: As indicated (may be subject to change)
Transfers: By private motorcoach
Gratuities: Tips are included for airport porters and hotel bell-men
Fees: All included as indicated
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: You will be allowed one suitcase and one carry-on per person during the tour. Baggage fees for check-in luggage are not included in the tour fare.
Positive means of identification is required for all airlines. You should have readily available any ONE of the following:
1. Government issued picture I.D. (valid drivers license with picture or state identification card)
2. Valid U.S. passport for all foreign countries including Canada and Mexico (some countries may also require visas which may result in additional charges and will be the responsibility of the passenger)
RESPONSIBILITY: Kobayashi Travel Service, its subsidiary companies, agents and affiliates act only as agents for the owners and contractors providing means of transportation or other services where offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such tickets and/or vouchers shall be deemed to consent the further conditions that Kobayashi Travel Service, its subsidiary companies, agents and affiliates shall not or become liable or responsible in any way in connection with such means of transportation or other services, or for any loss, injury or damage to or in respect of any person or property however arising, nor be responsible for damages arising from the default of a tour operator/carrier, lost/damaged luggage, trip cancellation, bad weather, natural disaster or other acts of God. THE RIGHT IS RESERVED TO ALTER WITHOUT NOTICE THE AIRLINES, HOTELS, MEALS AND PRICES GIVEN IN THIS BROCHURE AND ANY OTHER WRITTEN MATERIAL. THE RIGHT IS RESERVED TO ACCEPT AND RETAIN OR DECLINE ANY PERSON(S) AS A MEMBER OF ANY TOUR. WE ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY DISABLED MEMBER IF IT IS DETERMINED THAT SUCH MEMBER WOULD IMPEDE THE SCHEDULE OF THE TOUR AND GREATLY INCONVENIENCE THE MAJORITY OF THE TOUR MEMBERS. IF A DISABLED MEMBER IS ACCEPTED FOR THE TOUR BUT REQUIRES ANY FORM OF ASSISTANCE, HE/SHE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ABLE-BODIED MEMBER WHO TAKES FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE DISABLED MEMBER'S WELL BEING. All tours are based on a minimum of 20 paying passengers. We reserve the right to cancel any tour 60 days or more prior to departure. All deposits will be refunded or transferred to another tour of your choice.
